Kitchen & Bath Cabinetry and Renovation in Chatham, MA
Chatham sits at the elbow of Cape Cod, a town of working harbors, shingled homes, and a historic village center near Chatham Light. About 6,600 people live here year-round, and the population grows many times over in summer. Cedars & Birch Kitchens works with Chatham homeowners, builders, architects, and interior designers to plan kitchen renovations and bathroom renovations with cabinetry as thoughtful as the house around it.
We carry nine different cabinet lines, from ready-to-assemble (RTA) kitchens to fully custom and European-designed frameless cabinetry. We work with architects and interior designers early in the planning stage, so the cabinetry, appliances, and layout are settled before construction begins. We also supply vanities and wholesale cabinetry for builders and contractors working in Chatham. Questions? Read our frequently asked questions.
Design-Led Kitchens for Chatham Homes
Chatham's architecture ranges from historic captains' homes in the Old Village to newer homes built to take in the water. The kitchens that work best here feel connected to the house: considered proportions, quality materials, and details that look right up close. We help you turn a design vision, whether it comes from you, your designer, or your architect, into cabinetry that can actually be built and installed well.
Plan Early With Your Architect & Designer
The best kitchens are decided long before the cabinets arrive. When we're brought in during planning, we can coordinate cabinet dimensions with window and door placement, appliance specs, ventilation, and structural plans, so there are fewer surprises and change orders later. We work with architects and interior designers on drawings, selections, and finish decisions, and we're glad to meet with your whole team.

Design Directions We're Planning For
Kitchen design today leans toward clean-lined frameless cabinetry, mixed finishes such as painted cabinets paired with natural wood, integrated or paneled appliances, concealed storage, and statement hardware. Our European-designed frameless lines suit that look, and our traditional and shaker-style lines work when a home calls for something more classic. We can carry the same look into the bathroom with matching vanities.
